3 consejos para aprovechar al máximo las pistas

3 tips to make the most of your time on the slopes

Skiing or snowboarding puts the entire body to the test. Cold temperatures, altitude and repeated movements can quickly lead to fatigue, discomfort or injury. Yet, with a few simple habits, you can fully enjoy the slopes while taking care of your body.
Here are three essential tips to ski or ride longer, more comfortably and safely.

1. Warm up properly before your first run

Starting the day with cold muscles significantly increases the risk of injury. Low temperatures reduce mobility, slow reaction time and increase muscle tension. A short warm-up done right before your first descent prepares the body effectively.

Quick 3-minute warm-up

  • Knee, hip and ankle rotations

  • Slow squats to activate quadriceps and glutes

  • Lower-back mobility exercises (very useful for snowboarders)

  • High knees or heel-to-glute kicks

  • A few fast steps or small jumps to wake up the cardiovascular system

These movements immediately improve reactivity, stability and help reduce injury risk from the very first run.

2. Protect your knees for better comfort and stability

The knees are the most stressed joints in skiing and snowboarding: twists, vibrations, constant weight shifts… Supporting them can significantly reduce fatigue and prevent discomfort.

Two solutions exist depending on your needs: Incrediwear and Floky.

Incrediwear: comfortable support for a more flexible joint

Incrediwear is not a rigid brace. It’s a lightweight support designed to:

  • improve blood circulation around the knee

  • maintain joint warmth

  • reduce stiffness

  • decrease fatigue throughout the day

  • promote faster recovery

It’s discreet, does not restrict movement, and provides noticeable comfort during a full day on the mountain.
Best for: prevention, long-lasting comfort, and skiers/snowboarders who want to protect their joints without strong compression.

Floky: reinforced stability for active support

Floky offers firmer, more targeted support with reinforced compression zones. It is designed to:

  • stabilize the joint

  • reduce micro-vibrations on hard snow

  • limit unwanted movements

  • protect weak or sensitive knees

  • improve edge control and precision

You feel it more than Incrediwear, but it delivers an immediate sense of security.
Best for: more demanding riders, those looking for real support, or anyone who has already experienced knee discomfort.

3. Boost your recovery to enjoy several days in a row

Winter sports are tough on the legs. Without proper recovery, soreness builds up and fatigue hits as early as the next morning.

Stay hydrated
Cold masks the sensation of thirst, but altitude causes quicker dehydration. Drinking regularly helps prevent cramps, improve endurance and support muscle recovery.

After the session: RS7 heating gel to release tension
Applying RS7 heating gel at the end of the day is one of the most effective ways to relax muscles and reduce pain:

  • gradual heat effect

  • improved circulation

  • reduced tension

  • relief from muscle discomfort

  • better recovery for the next day
